Regional Impact Summaries

Our regional climate change impact summaries provide snapshots of projected climate change and potential impacts across Queensland’s regional planning areas.

These summaries have been updated in 2024 based on the latest climate science. They showcase regional climate change projections for a subset of climate variables including temperatures, hot days, rainfall, evapotranspiration and consecutive dry days, for the years 2050 and 2090, and for three emissions scenarios described by Shared Socio-economic Pathways (SSPs).
