Data and Information
The output of Queensland’s climate modelling simulations is available in a range of formats to suit different end-users (see figure below).
Regionalised summary statistics are available for Local Government Areas, Regional Plan Areas, Bioregions, Major River Basins, Disaster Districts, Natural Resource Management Regions and selected Locations on the Queensland Future Climate Dashboard and the Regional Explorer.
Vector gridded data (shapefiles) are also available on the Queensland Future Climate Dashboard for a range of metrics, seasons and time slices for users seeking to aggregate climate change data for different regions.
More advanced users can also get the downscaled CMIP6 projections in gridded (raster) format from the National Computational Infrastructure (NCI) link and the CMIP5 projections via the Terrestrial and Ecosystem Research Network (TERN) link.
